Are you a results-driven Warehouse Operations leader with a passion for optimizing processes and empowering teams? We're seeking a dynamic Manager, Warehouse Operations to oversee the daily functions of our bustling distribution center. In this critical role, you'll be the architect of efficiency, ensuring seamless shipping, receiving, production, and fulfillment operations in a high-volume, rapidly evolving environment. Your leadership will directly impact our global supply chain performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
● Strategic Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning. Ensure strict adherence to all company, federal, state, and local regulations.
● Operational Excellence: Drive the end-to-end execution of warehouse operations, from inbound logistics and efficient storage to precision picking, packing, and outbound shipping for both domestic and international orders.
● Process Innovation: Champion and implement continuous improvement initiatives across all warehouse functions, leveraging data and best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve accuracy.
● Inventory Mastery: Oversee robust inventory control systems, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and annual inventory processes, to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
● Quality & Compliance: Ensure all outgoing shipments meet stringent quality standards and are accurately documented, including all necessary domestic and international paperwork.
● Customer Advocate: Proactively manage customer inquiries and resolve complex shipping or fulfillment issues, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional service and root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, and other departments to ensure alignment and seamless operational flow.
● Production Oversight: Manage the assembly and programming initiatives for Brivo products, ensuring quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
● 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a high-volume distribution or warehouse environment, including at least 3 years managing and developing a team.
● Demonstrated expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms (experience with NetSuite is a significant plus).
● Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.
● Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to root cause analysis.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of motivating a team and effectively interacting with all levels of the organization and external partners.
● Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and operate warehouse equipment safely.
● Current certification or willingness to obtain certification for operating a forklift.
● Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/G Suite and carrier-specific software.
Preferred Skills:
● Direct experience with international shipping regulations and customs processes.
● Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement certifications.
