Vice President, Sales (EMEA)

Summary:

As the VP, Sales, you will be a seasoned and growth-focused business executive with a proven ability to proactively establish, foster, and enhance relationships with existing and potential customers across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales outcomes within the EMEA region while leading a dynamic sales and support team. The ideal candidate for this VP role possesses exceptional creativity, organizational prowess, sales acumen, and leadership skills. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the EMEA region.
  • Proactively create, cultivate, and enhance relationships with current and potential customers throughout the EMEA region.
  • Lead and mentor a sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance and exceed sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer success, to align sales strategies with overall company goals and objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and develop targeted sales initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their business challenges and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Lead and participate in sales negotiations and contract discussions to ensure favorable terms and conditions for both the company and customers.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management to support business planning and resource allocation decisions.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market developments to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the sales organization.
  • Drive a highly effective, dynamic, and team-oriented culture within the sales team.
  • Ensure the achievement of assigned personal and team business targets.
  • Mentor and coach the field sales team towards actions and initiatives that result in productive territory growth and increased market share within the EMEA region.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with Brivo's largest end-users in the EMEA region.
  • Manage assigned resources effectively to achieve business results, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Facilitate the professional development of the sales team and organize onboarding for new team members.
  • Develop and monitor metrics to measure performance and quotas, and manage the sales forecast with the team in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to provide market insights and contribute to the development of strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of direct sales experience, preferably within the security industry, SaaS, software sales, or information security.
  • 10+ years of sales management experience, leading channel sales professionals.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in meeting assigned sales quotas consistently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, catering to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of conveying ideas, expectations, and information concisely, professionally, and in a well-organized manner.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the access control or security industry
  • Proven success in selling complex solutions or technology-based products/services
  • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and SaaS models
  • Experience leading sales teams in the EMEA market
  • Strong network of contacts in the security industry
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced business environment
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making
  • Fluency in multiple languages spoken within the EMEA region
